I am a retired civil and commercial litigator with decades of experience in hundreds of cases in Michigan's trial and appellate courts and in the federal district and bankruptcy courts in the Eastern District of Michigan.

More specifically, my experience includes disputes involving commercial contracts, foreclosure of construction liens, mortgage fraud, commercial and residential leases, zoning and easements, collections (both debtor and creditor), consumer law, covenants-not-to-compete, and employment law.

I have published articles, and I have extensive experience in research and writing pleadings, motions, briefs, and facilitation and mediation summaries.

And like all experienced litigators, I have extensive experience in settling disputes, before and after complaints are filed, and during appeals.

I had a previous career as a hospital administrator.
